Scope

Brand Identity, Packaging & Application

ONE BRAND, TWO EXPERIENCES

Colosseum was envisioned as more than a restaurant. It was designed as two complementary experiences under one roof. While the restaurant brings people together over leisurely meals and shared moments, the bakehouse is built around everyday rituals, serving freshly baked bread, pastries and coffee. Both belong to the same brand family, yet cater to distinct occasions, moods and customer journeys.

Positioning

Rather than relying on a single visual language, we developed two interconnected identity systems that give each experience its own character.

The restaurant takes on a stronger, more architectural expression through structured typography, deeper earthy tones and a sense of permanence. Its visual language reflects the warmth of hospitality, the pleasure of gathering around a table and the unhurried nature of a good dining experience.

In contrast, the bakehouse adopts a softer, more expressive direction. A more expressive typeface and warmer palette bring out the craft, comfort and intimacy associated with artisan baking, making the experience feel approachable and rooted in everyday rituals.

personality

The distinction goes beyond aesthetics. It creates a flexible brand architecture where both experiences can coexist seamlessly while retaining their individual personalities.

The Opportunity

The bakehouse adopts a softer, more expressive direction. A more expressive typeface and warmer palette bring out the craft, comfort and intimacy associated with artisan baking, making the experience feel approachable and rooted in everyday rituals.
